Terms and Conditions of Use

Last Updated: July 27, 2026

These Terms and Conditions of Use govern your access to and use of AmericanHomeBuyer.us, including its webpages, forms, content, features, and related services offered by American Home Buyer.

By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not use this website.

Your participation in an American Home Buyer text-messaging program is separately governed by the SMS and Text Messaging Terms below. Merely visiting this website, submitting a general form, providing a telephone number, or accepting these website Terms does not, by itself, enroll you in a text-messaging program. You must separately provide the applicable SMS consent.

Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

American Home Buyer may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised website Terms, except where additional notice or renewed consent is required by applicable law.

SMS and Text Messaging Terms

These SMS and Text Messaging Terms apply to text messages sent by or on behalf of American Home Buyer. They supplement the general website Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Program Description

American Home Buyer offers text-messaging programs through which consumers may communicate with us regarding:

  • Property inquiries
  • Requests for cash offers
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Property visits or inspections
  • Follow-up questions
  • Offer-related updates
  • Transaction-related information
  • Customer-service communications
  • Other communications directly related to a consumer’s inquiry or relationship with American Home Buyer
  • Marketing or promotional communications, when the consumer has separately consented to receive them

Messages may be sent through an automated messaging platform or other automated technology.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving an offer, selling a property, purchasing a product or service, using our website, entering into a transaction, or otherwise doing business with American Home Buyer.

Informational and Transactional Messages

When you expressly consent to receive informational or transactional text messages, American Home Buyer may send messages concerning:

  • A property inquiry you submitted
  • A request for a cash offer
  • Appointment confirmations, changes, and reminders
  • Follow-up questions regarding your property or inquiry
  • Offer preparation or offer-status updates
  • Transaction, scheduling, title, closing, or documentation updates
  • Responses to questions you asked
  • Customer-service matters
  • Other non-promotional communications directly related to an action you initiated or an existing relationship with American Home Buyer

Informational or transactional consent does not authorize American Home Buyer to send unrelated marketing or promotional text messages.

Informational messages are communications directly related to an action, inquiry, or transaction the recipient initiated or agreed to. They will not be used to promote unrelated products, services, or causes.

Marketing and Promotional Messages

When you separately provide express written consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages, American Home Buyer may send communications concerning:

  • American Home Buyer’s home-buying services
  • Promotions, programs, or special offers
  • Reminders about available services
  • Future property-selling opportunities
  • Requests to reconnect with American Home Buyer
  • Other marketing communications described at the time you provide consent

Marketing consent is voluntary and must be provided separately from informational or transactional consent.

Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not a condition of receiving a cash offer, selling a property, purchasing any product or service, using our website, entering into a transaction, or otherwise doing business with American Home Buyer.

Marketing or promotional messages require prior express written consent. Consent to receive marketing messages must be collected separately from consent to receive informational or transactional messages.

How Consent Is Obtained

Consent for informational or transactional messages may be obtained through:

  • An optional website checkbox
  • A written or electronic form
  • A consumer-initiated text-message conversation
  • A text-message keyword
  • A properly documented verbal interaction, when appropriate for the particular non-marketing messaging purpose
  • Another clearly disclosed opt-in method permitted by applicable law and messaging requirements

Consent for marketing or promotional messages must be provided through an affirmative written or electronic opt-in that clearly authorizes marketing messages. Examples may include:

  • A separate, unchecked website checkbox
  • A signed written form
  • A text-in keyword enrollment
  • Another affirmative electronic process that creates a record of the consumer’s consent

For website opt-ins, SMS consent controls are optional, separate from general website terms and other agreements, and not selected by default. The consumer must affirmatively select the applicable checkbox or otherwise complete the disclosed opt-in action.

Providing a telephone number by itself does not necessarily constitute consent to receive automated or marketing text messages.

Consent applies only to:

  • The consumer who provided it
  • The telephone number provided
  • American Home Buyer as the identified sender
  • The message categories and program described at the time of opt-in

Consent is not transferable, assignable, sold, rented, purchased, or automatically extended to another person, company, affiliate, campaign, or unrelated messaging purpose.

Consent must be specific, voluntary, and limited to the identified sender and messaging purpose. Providing consent for one messaging program does not automatically enroll the consumer in other messaging programs.

Records of Consent

American Home Buyer may retain records relating to SMS consent, including:

  • The telephone number provided
  • The date and time of consent
  • The method through which consent was obtained
  • The website page or form used
  • The consent language presented at the time
  • Relevant transaction or inquiry information
  • Opt-in, opt-out, and re-opt-in activity
  • Other information reasonably necessary to document and administer consent

These records may be retained as necessary to operate the messaging program, demonstrate compliance, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or carrier requirements.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on:

  • The messaging program selected
  • Your interaction with American Home Buyer
  • The status of your property inquiry
  • The status of an appointment, offer, or transaction
  • Whether you ask additional questions or request follow-up
  • The nature of any marketing program for which you separately enrolled

You may receive recurring messages. Message frequency is not guaranteed and may increase or decrease based on your communications and relationship with American Home Buyer.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging, data, roaming, and other charges may apply to messages sent or received in connection with an American Home Buyer messaging program. American Home Buyer does not charge a separate fee solely for participating in its text-messaging program.

Website opt-in disclosures should state that message frequency may vary and that message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from American Home Buyer.

Depending on the capabilities and configuration of our messaging provider, other commonly recognized opt-out keywords may also be supported. To ensure your request is processed, reply STOP or contact American Home Buyer using the information provided below.

After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that your request has been processed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive messages from the applicable sending number or messaging program unless you later provide valid consent to resume messaging.

Re-Enrolling After an Opt-Out

After opting out, you will not receive additional text messages from the applicable messaging program unless you take an affirmative action to re-enroll or otherwise provide valid new consent.

Depending on the capabilities and configuration of our messaging provider, you may be able to resume messages by replying START, YES, or another re-enrollment keyword specifically provided to you. You may also re-enroll through another clearly disclosed opt-in method.

Additional confirmation may be required before messaging resumes. Any new consent will apply only to the messaging program, message types, and purposes disclosed at the time you re-enroll.
